Sole S77 Treadmill Reviews

The Sole S77 Treadmill is a non folding treadmill so it is probably more appropriate for a dedicated home gym as you cannot reduce the amount of space it takes up by folding the jogging platform up. The reviews we found for this treadmill were mostly negative. First of all most people recommend paying for the delivery and setup of the treadmill as it is very heavy and cumbersome to move by yourself.

One person reported spending two hours assembling the treadmill even with a helper. The holes on the plastic arm pieces would not line up properly making the assembly frustrating and the finished product look cheap. The poorly written instructions for the Sole s77 Treadmill were not very helpful because parts are not labeled properly and there is no detailed drawing to show were all the parts go. Another using also reported some missing pieces but did say Sole did ship out the pieces the same day after contacting them. Once the treadmill has been assembled all reviewers said it felt solid and well made with a nice large running surface (22 x 60 inches) but there were still more problems.

Three customers reported rubbing noises from the belt which can quickly lead to fraying and permanent damage. One cause of this was a loose screw that had been stripped during the manufacture of the treadmill at the factory. This shows the quality control is not very good. The main complaint about the Sole S77 Treadmill is the fact that it can take up to 45 seconds for the treadmill to change speeds if you want to speed up or slow down. This can be a huge problem if you are tired and try to reduce the speed, you may end up getting thrown off the back of the treadmill if you can't keep up until it slows down.
